The Great Bear Rainforest and surrounding ocean are intricately entwined to form a rich and diverse ecosystem. The rainforest is home to a wide variety of wildlife including ravens, bald eagles, sandhill cranes, wolves, deer, and bears. The sea is home to salmon, orcas, humpback whales, seals, sea lions, dolphins and porpoises. Kayaking the Great Bear Rainforest allows us to experience what this great area has to offer. We view a wide variety of wildlife and sceneries as we kayak and if we are extremely lucky we may catch a glimpse of a rare Kermode or spirit bear.
